Lost Treasure HQ is where I share the knowledge and experience I've gained over the years from collecting coins, notes and a little metal detecting.
I'm William, the author of all the numismatic articles on LostTreasureHQ.com.
I've been collecting coins and metal detecting since I was a teenager, which is a long time, and more recently paper currency which I started ten years ago.
I consider myself both a numismatist and notaphilist as I collect and study about coins and paper currency.
I specialise in United States coins and bills mostly, however I also have quite a collection of fifty pence and two pound coins from the United Kingdom.
My favorite communities to learn about coins and notes, and recommend you become a member if you can, are the American Numismatic Association, American Numismatic Society and Paper Money Guaranty.
Some other great websites I recommend for learning about the values of coins and notes are PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Services), NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company and Heritage Auctions.
